We’ve compiled maybe the most comprehensive Utah-Valley-Santa-Claus-event-thing that has ever been compiled. Hopefully it gets us on the nice list.

Free Santa Visits

A lot of these free Santa visits are part of the cities’ light ceremonies. But some are more ongoing through the season. Check out the list below—and maybe check it twice.

Santa at the Riverwoods

Santa is coming to the Riverwoods starting this Friday! Come enjoy the Riverwood lights and see Mr. (and some nights Mrs.) Claus. Santa visits are contactless and lap sitting is prohibited.

Santa’s Village at University Place

A great chance to get your Christmas shopping done and see Santa! Come visit Santa at his Woodland Chalet (so fancy 🍸️) and hope he says you’re nice. You can have a free visit with Santa (but no free pictures). From their site: “Visits are always complimentary and each child visiting Santa will receive a special treat. Photo packages are available. Personal photography is not permitted.”

Make a reservation for a free 4×6 Santa photo! Reservations are for a brief 2-minute experience with Santa, but a free appointment and professional photo with Santa is rare. (There are also photo packages for purchase.) Free story times with Mr. & Mrs. Claus and free breakfast with Santa are also available by reservation!
