What is Cyclocross? Cyclocross is like a cross between road biking, mountain biking, and steeplechase. (And what is steeplechase? Steeplechase is like a cross between running, hurdling, and jumping in puddles. Just kidding, kind of, we love our steeplechasers.) From their website: “Our courses are fun, challenging, and mixes in classic style with run-ups, flyovers, and of course barriers.” They say no need for fancy bikes or even a specific type of bike, mountain bikes should be fine, and kids race free!

NY Times Columnist, author, and war veteran, David French, will be speaking at the forum today. In his book “Divided We Fall: America’s Secession Threat and How to Restore Our Nation" David French “warns of the potential dangers to the country—and the world—if we don’t summon the courage to reconcile our political differences.” Source

👉 Other events today:

The Provo Library has a number of interesting classes today. One of them is Learn It: Smart Steps for Families, which is part of a seven-week course where relationship skills are taught with the goal of improving family relationships.
There will also be a special family event called Family Mental Health Night, which will be run by the BYU Comprehensive Clinic.
And finally, from 7pm to 8:30pm, learn how to “heal your relationship with food”. Learn It: Redesign Your Relationship with Food will be led by a functional nutrition counselor.

🎃 Hobble Creek Barn Boutique Holiday Showcase
This boutique is free to attend, (parking is free as well), and it will be running from Wednesday to Saturday this week. They are going to have a huge variety of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas items along with many other crafts, treats, baby items, bath items, etc. Make sure to follow their Facebook and Instagram for a chance to win some prizes!

Second annual Pink Party at Riverwoods. This is a back-to-school party put on by the Riverwoods. Wear pink, wear a costume, dance party starts @ 7pm.

The Utah Flower Market in Pleasant grove will be starting at 11am.
