When Will and McKennah saw how yard greetings brought people together during COVID — helping loved ones celebrate from a distance — they were inspired.
Now, as the proud owners of Card My Yard Provo, they’re in the business of making each celebration even more memorable! If you have a birthday, graduation, homecoming, or farewell coming up, then just book a yard display and they’ll handle the rest!

💃🕺 Latin Dance Night at the Provo Library
Latin dancing advice according to the interwebs:
1) Lead with your body and not your arms
2) If you’re struggling consider taking smaller steps
3) And don’t forget your “hip accents”
Not sure if that will help — but no matter — no prior dance experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome!

Friday To-do’s ✔️
A robot uprising might not be upon us just yet (see the Provo Library event above) but the rise of AI has led to more complicated scams that are more difficult to detect.
Some in the area have reported receiving voicemails and emails that mimic their boss’s voice and way of talking almost perfectly. Many times these fake messages are about sending money somewhere seemingly legitimate which turns out to be a scammer’s account.
The number of ways scammers are using to get at your money and information are seemingly endless and ever changing. Here are some things you can do to protect yourself according to KnowBe4 (based off a reported PayPal scam):
✅ Never submit payments after receiving an unexpected email
Instead, navigate directly to an organization’s official website or app to submit a secure payment. Emails can be malicious even if the sender’s email address is from a trusted domain. (For example you might think an email from [email protected]. can be trusted. PayPal is obviously a trusted a domain. However, cybercriminals can sometimes gain access to trusted domains and send out malicious emails.)
✅ Check the link, but also the other email recipients
Be suspicious of emails sent to multiple addresses, especially if you don't recognize the other emails. In the recent PayPal scam the link was legit, the “from” email seemed legit, but a scammer’s email was copied on the email. When the link in the email was clicked the scammers were reportedly able to gain access to the person’s PayPal account!
Thanks!
Thanks for reading! Enjoy the weekend! 😉
