Holiday Skiing/Snowboarding 🏂

Credit: Ski Utah

Here is an update about the snow and which resorts will get the most snow during these next two storm systems:

Over the next few days most ski resorts predict they will get a few inches of new snow. Alta or Brighton is expected to get the most, Sundance and the Park City resorts might get maybe an inch, maybe nothing at all. However, later this week, nearly all the resorts in Northern Utah are predicted to get something, with some resorts getting close to half a foot.

Also, if you are a fan of Snowbasin, (ranked the #1 ski resort in America by Outside, Ski Magazine, and USA Today), then check out their 12 days of Christmas deals. Today, you can get up to 50% off some ticket packages (buy 2 to 5 days worth of tickets, no blackout dates). On Christmas Eve and Christmas you can get $60 off a weekday ticket! 🤑 (They are usually about $170 for adults.)

Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner 🥩 🥗 🍰

Was it Christmas dinner or Christmas Eve dinner where the Parkers (from A Christmas Story) went to the Chinese restaurant? Either way, we know you’ll have a much better experience if you choose to go to the Homestead Resort in Midway.

Their Christmas Eve/Day dinner is $49 per person, and it’s a 3-course meal (Christmas Eve: New York Steak, Salmon, or Wild Mushroom Bolognese | Christmas Day: Butternut Squash Ravioli, Pork Schnitzel, or Surf & Turf), and, of course, it’s an amazing atmosphere!

Sundance Lodge Holiday Happenings 🎅

These activities are exclusive to guests at Sundance, so this won’t apply to most of us, but it’s still fun to know about. And if we can’t enjoy them, we can at least feel good knowing other people are enjoying them. Maybe.

Anyway, all this week at Sundance (if you’re a guest at the lodge) you can have hot cocoa and s’mores in The Springs , or you can check out the Snowcat machines and learn from the Snowcat operators. You can also make ornaments and cookies and wreaths, and listen to stories from Mr. & Mrs. Claus!
