Charity Wright of Birth with Charity
Charity Wright is a certified advanced doula and childbirth educator in Utah Valley, (you can check out her Instagram here), and her next class for expectant couples is coming up Feb 22nd!
Charity’s classes come in two different formats, a comprehensive 5-week series and a 1-day essentials class. Her classes are evidence-based and extremely practical. They are also interactive and lots of fun!
Even if you aren’t expecting, consider sharing this info with someone who is. “Every birthgiver deserves to be empowered by education and every birth can be positive and amazing.”

Beth Brower Book Signing 📔

Utah Author, Beth Brower, is maybe best known for her series: “The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion”. Volume 8 of the series is coming out — so come meet the author and get your books signed!
A little about the books (at least the first in the series) according to Amazon — “Armed with wit and a sideways amusement, Emma documents the curious realities of her life at Lapis Lazuli House.”
Quote from the book: “I’ve arrived in London without incident. There are few triumphs in my recent life, but I count this as one. My existence of the last three years has been nothing but incident.”

Utah Magic Fest 🎩

The Utah Magic Fest, also known as “The Utah Art of Magic Festival”, is dedicated to bringing the art of magic to the public through shows, classes, and lectures by top magicians. The event runs for multiple day and most of the events will be taking place at the Scera in Orem!
If you get a full festival pass you can see all the lectures and shows. But you can also buy tickets for an individual show. (Tim Hannig’s Pro-Kids Show on Friday, and Date Night Magic Show with Eric Stevens on Saturday).

Mindy Gledhill Concert 🎤

Mindy’s best known songs are probably "I Do Adore" and "Anchor". And according to Mindy, she almost threw away “I Do Adore” after she wrote it, but now it has over 60 million streams!
This Friday, the Orem Library will host singer-songwriter Mindy Gledhill for a special performance featuring songs from her album, "The Phone Booth Sessions, Vol. 1." Tickets for this are almost sold out!

🎹 Piano Teacher volunteers for Dixon Community Resource Center
“The Dixon Community Resource Center is offering free piano lessons to families living in the Dixon neighborhood as a part of the MyHometown Provo initiative. The Community Resource Center is located at 1066 W 200 N, Provo, and provides piano lessons along with classes in English, Computer Literacy, Finance, etc. Each weekly piano lesson lasts for 30 minutes and is given on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4 and 6pm. To volunteer as a piano teacher you must be at least 18 years old. Lesson materials will be provided.” More info
