Yoyo’s Tacos 🌮

Yoyo’s Tacos, is open again after a winter hiatus! 🎉
If you don’t know about Yoyo’s, it’s a taco truck, it was started in 2023 by “Yoyo”, and it has quickly gained a following.
Yoyo’s Tacos’ story began years ago in Michoacán, Mexico, where Yoyo’s grandfather also sold tacos. The family eventually moved to Utah, and in Yoyo’s words: “We always knew we wanted to sell food, and 5 years ago we started selling out of our garage. Saved up money and now we run our own business…”
If you go try the Birria Burrito, the “BirriaRito".🌯 (Tender Beef birria (slow cooked beef for hours in broth), rice, beans, onions, cilantro and cheese, and then grilled to make it nice and crispy.)

The Birds (PG-13, 1963) 🐦️🐦️🐦️

Love is in the air, but so are the birds…
You probably know all about this thriller, but did you know over 25,000 live birds were used in the film? Catching all those birds was difficult. They tried a lot of different methods but most failed. Eventually the crew found a “rookery of tens of thousands of birds in Arizona”. They snuck up on them at night, wearing all black + black face paint, and caught them using nets.
Of course, the birds weren’t very cooperative. Many of the film crew ended up in the hospital from real bird attacks. (Apparently the birds learned to go for the eyes.) Anyway, hopefully these tidbits make watching it tonight even more enjoyable!

Traditional Scottish dinner will be served at BYU tonight. (Minus the Scotch, of course.) The dinner and festivities are all in honor of Robert Burns. If you don’t know Robert Burns, he’s considered the National Poet of Scotland and according to Wikipedia he is also considered “a pioneer of the Romantic movement, and… a great source of inspiration to the founders of both liberalism and socialism.”

Friday To-do’s ✔️
Probably time to change out your filters again.
It’s a simple and relatively cheap thing to do. As you might already know, if you go too long without changing your HVAC filter your utilities bills will go up, it can cause allergies and a burning smell as the ducts become coated with dust and gunk, and it can shorten the life of your HVAC unit.
✅ Change out the HVAC filter 🥵🥶

✅ Change out our car’s air filter, too 🚗
According to AutoFairFor.com “Neglecting your air filter can lead to several issues. Over time, it can cause reduced fuel efficiency, diminished horsepower, and even engine damage”.

Thanks for reading! Enjoy the winter weather this weekend! 😉
