What’s Up Provo!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
We hope it’s a day filled with luck, rainbows, and gold and that you don’t get pinched. (turns out there’s a pinch emoji → 🤏 ) Also, Camp Fire Girls Day! 🔥
A few highlights of today’s newsletter:
🍀 St. Patrick's Day Concert, Climber’s Night 🧗, 🐾🎉 Bluey Bash, Meditation and seed planting, Gallery Talk with Brian Kershisnik
🥣 Cooking Classes, Paint Along’s, and Auditions

In Partnership with
Card My Yard

In the middle of the school year, all of Wasatch Elementary packed up their stuff and headed east to their new home.
And who was there to welcome the teachers, students, staff, and “Satch” himself to their new home? Card My Yard Provo of course! The energy was electric, the custom sign added to the excitement, it brought a smile to everyone’s face, and it quickly became a favorite photo op for kids and teachers alike.
That’s what Card My Yard is all about — helping organizations and families celebrate milestones, build spirit, and create lasting memories.
With Teacher Appreciation Week and end-of-school celebrations just around the corner, now is the time to secure your Card My Yard display. Of course, they do more than school-related signs: Homecoming/farewells, birthdays, graduation, retirement… whatever the occasion they’ve got you covered.
📅 March thru May is their peak season so book a sign early! Also, click here to see more examples of what they do.
✅ They take care of set up and removal, they’re eco-friendly (unlike disposable signs), plus they give discounts for schools and they’ll match your school colors!

St. Patrick's Day Concert 🍀🎶

Enjoy melodies that have echoed through centuries!
An evening of traditional Irish and bagpipe music will be a great way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. (The event is full currently, but hopefully you were able to grab some spots when we mentioned this event in previous emails. We aren’t sure if they will have a waiting list — no word yet from the library about that.)

⚾️ BYU Baseball vs Utah Tech
As we all know, “there are three things you can do in a baseball game. You can win, you can lose, or it can rain."
What about snow? Hopefully the weather cooperates and you can get over to Miller Park to watch the Cougars as they face off against the Trailblazers (Utah Tech, formerly Dixie) at Miller Park. Cheer on Cooper Vest, Keoni Painter, and the rest of the BYU team and help them get a win!

🧘♀️ Learn It: Growing Intention
The library has been hitting it out of the park lately with lots of events that are filling up fast. Last we checked there were still some spots available for this one, but not many… Tomorrow they will have a guided meditation session where you'll set personal intentions and simultaneously plant seeds! Talk about multi-tasking, but maybe this is one of the good kinds. “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant” — Robert Louis Stevenson

'The Difficult Part' Gallery Talk with Brian Kershisnik 🎨

Flight Practice with Instruction
Brian Kershisnik’s
Brian Kershisnik’s exhibit at the BYU MOA has been one of the most popular exhibits they’ve had in a while, and our guess is this edition of Gallery Talk will be very well attended.
“[Kershisnik] grapples with every single topic in a way where everything feels funny and manageable, but still respectful and reverent.” — BYU Magazine

Swing into Spring at Hobble Creek Barn Boutique 🌸
“Come shop booths filled with trendy fashion accessories, sweet treats, handmade jewelry, Mother's Day gifts, and much much more!!!” Wait… it’s already time to start thinking about Mother’s Day? They are going to have over 100 local vendors, and it’s free admission, and it will be open from Wednesday to Saturday this week!
