🌸 Spring Break Sneak Peak

In Partnership with Melissa Kamar
Housing market’s busiest time of year 🌸

If you don’t already know, spring is one of the best times to list a home.
Why? Well according to CNBC, the housing market is the most active during the spring as “homebuyers are often looking to close a purchase before summer kicks off and well in advance of the new school year”
If you’re looking to buy/sell this spring or summer talk to Melissa Kamar — realtor at Stringham West Realty.

Jersey Boys 🎙️

“Embark on The Four Seasons' incredible journey from New Jersey underdogs to 1960s rock sensations” (The Four Seasons aka Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons had hits like “Oh What A Night”, "Can’t Take My Eyes off of You," "Big Girls Don’t Cry").
The play is the winner of multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and The Ruth’s presentation of Jersey Boys will be with a new script that removes the swears “while preserving the heart, harmony, and history!”

The Holi Festival of Colors 🟢🔴🔵🟡

“Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life”. Also, the goal is to leave the party looking like a human skittle!
You probably know all about this one already (it’s been a popular event for many years now), but in case you don’t know about it, the festival is at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork.
It will be a weekend filled with live music, dancing and dancing performances, yoga sessions, delicious “veg” dishes (our favorite Indian vegetarian dishes are brinjal curry & paneer tikka masala, in case you’re wondering) — but the main event is the color throwing. Throw your powdered colors in the air, or even better, right in your friend’s face! You might want to wear sunglasses.
Tickets are $10 at the gate, kids 12 and under are free (pre-register online to save some money and avoid the lines). Also, important note, parking is a beast, here are some parking tips.

Soar into Spring 🪁
It’s the season-opening celebration at Thanksgiving Point! Explore the gardens, participate in the mini-kite making and the scavenger hunt, and if you have leftover powder from the Festival of Colors you can run around and throw colored powder at people!
Actually… no. Don’t do that. We made that last part up. But here’s something we didn’t make up: In addition to exploring and kite flying, etc., you can also stop by the greenhouse to take home a starter plant.
So there you go, enjoy some good, clean fun at Thanksgiving Point. No color fights. Soar into Spring is free for Thanksgiving Point members, and if you’re not a member you can attend with the purchase of a regular Ashton Gardens ticket.

Edna’s in Provo 🍽️

Edna’s has been around in Lehi for a while, but they opened up a new location in Provo late October last year. And it’s been a hit!
We assume at some point, someone in their kitchen had the crazy idea of putting raspberry jam on a burger — but turns out that person wasn’t crazy at all because it’s actually delicious. Long story short, they have amazing burgers.
They also have yummy steak frites, a great creamy balsamic bread dip, and much more. The sweet potato waffle fries are awesome — crispy, sweet, and salty. 👌 And we haven’t tried the desserts but we’ve heard they’re amazing, too.
Great food, great service, big portions. They just keep bringing out the free bread and balsamic dip while you’re waiting, which we love. Plus they’ve got a few huge circle tables, and huge circle tables are definitely the way to go if you’re eating with a big group.
