Many of you probably already know Zippy, the Provo Rec’s tricky but generous squirrel. (Or chipmunk? We’ve heard it both ways.)

Provo Rec Birthday Bash Day 2: Cake Eating Contest 🍰

We looked up cake contest eating tips, and the first tip was to consult a doctor…

Our first reaction was 🙄, but actually it might make your doctor’s day. Does insurance cover cake eating contest physicals?

Assuming your health checks out, get to the rec center, devour a slice of cake faster than anyone else in the whole city, and maybe Zippy will be there again this year!

Provo Recreation Center | 6pm | More info

❄️ Kid Zone: Indoor Snowball Fight
A taste of winter in spring/summer, plus a great way to take out some frustration. The puff ball snowballs weigh almost nothing so you can throw with reckless abandon and no one gets hurt (usually). But, of course, consult a doctor, be safe, yada yada. More importantly, have fun!
Springville Library | 4pm - 5pm

Join the Utah Valley Historical Society for an evening with Patrick Hearty, a leading expert on the Pony Express. He'll delve into the daring riders, rugged trails, and pivotal moments that defined this legendary mail service.
