From missionary, to BYU walk-on, to major leaguer: The Justin Sterner story
“Even as a little kid in Little League, there were a couple times where I was left off an all-star team or in high school… Honestly, from the second I fell in love with baseball I had to work hard. Yeah, just that work ethic of nothing’s given, you got to work for every little thing that you get, especially at this level.”

A great lineup of events, especially for the beginning of the week!

Bike Rodeo 🤠 🚲

Gear up for Vineyard City's 8th Annual Bike Rodeo! Bring your kids to meet the local sheriffs, and participate in the events.

We don’t know exactly what the events will be — but that won’t stop us from speculating! So here we go: Bareback bike riding seems like a logical option, an event where people on bikes try to rope people on trikes would also make sense, and if Vineyard was really daring they’d have a bike jump through a ring of fire! Well, anyway, whatever the events will be we’re sure it will be a fun event.

🌮 Tacos Tacos Tacos 🌮

We tried tons of tacos from some of the top restaurants from last week’s poll. (In honor of Cinco de Mayo, of course.) Here is what stood out:

Don Joaquin - Took 1st in our poll. We tried their most popular tacos, but we also cheated and tried the California Burrito — and that burrito is hard to beat.

El Gallo Giro - Your second place finisher. Maybe the best Asada and best El Pastor. The Birria was also really good.

El Tio- a lot of people wrote El Tio into the ballet and we are so glad! They’ve been open for 8 months, and they’re located near Burger Supreme and Great Harvest.

The Birria was the winner here - it was our favorite taco of all the tacos we tried. If we had to rank the tacos at El Tio’s we’d probably say, #1 Birria, #2 Shrimp, and #3 was a tie (Fish, Asada, and Chile Verde).

Thanks for reading! Send this to someone who knows how many parsecs it took the Millenium Falcon to do the Kessel Run. 😉

“Never tell me the odds!”

Han Solo

🤓 It took the Millenium Falcon “less than twelve parsecs” according to Han.
Also, about the trivia question, both C3PO and R2D2 appear in every Star Wars movie to date, but only the actor for C3PO, Anthony Daniels, has been in every movie. (R2D2 has had different “actors” playing that part.)
