What’s Up Provo! If you went trick-or-treating, hope it was everything you dreamt it would be and more. Also, good news, the celebrations don’t have to stop—because it’s Calan Gaeaf!

Calan Gaeaf is a holiday in Wales and is supposedly the “mother of Halloween”. Calan Gaeaf is also “a way of getting people ready to prepare for short and cheerless days ahead." That’s one way to describe winter, but hopefully not this year!

Mosida Market recently opened up in Provo (54 N 400 W) and it is a must try!

They farm their own cows on the other side of Utah Lake. The cows are processed locally as well—so the burgers and cuts of beef from Mosida are 100% local, American Wagyu!

🍔 The burgers are great, classic and high quality, but the Beef-n-All sandwich is also amazing. We suggest getting both. Menu (also, really great fries)

$1,000 reward for missing police K-9 🐕️

The dog was last seen outside the Davis County jail. Officials believe it may have been picked up by someone who didn’t realize it was a missing police dog. The missing dog is an extremely friendly 1-year-old German shorthaired pointer with a docked tail. Article

Friday To-do’s 🌱 

Before the winter hits, here are some things you should do for your yard and garden:

✅ Control the fungus on your fruit trees 🍑🍎 If you get those weird bumps and spots on your fruit and leaves, now is the time to take action. Clean up the leaves under the trees, prune back the dead branches and more. Here’s an article about what to do.

✅ Protect your sprinkler system 💧 Turn off the sprinklers water supply and drain the water from those pipes before the freeze. Angi’s List about how to drain sprinklers without a blowout

✅ Mow one last time and fertilize 🚜 Prep your lawn for winter and save yourself some time by helping to prevent weeds now. Stewarts advice for winterizing your lawn
