What’s Up Provo! Happy Maundy Thursday and Happy National Burrito Day!

We’ll tell you about all the nearby Easter egg hunts happening this week. Plus there are a few book signing events, some concerts, and turns out rodeo events are starting up again. Let’s get into it!

In Partnership with Independent Island Life Insurance
A broker that isn’t tied to one insurance company

How do you choose an insurance company? By getting a broker that isn’t tied down to one!

Here’s what most people do → They might look around for a little bit, but eventually they just choose a name they’ve heard of and hope for the best.

But Ray Keller knows better. He knows all the companies, he’s read all the fine print, and — most importantly — he knows which plans deliver real value without the bloated price tag.

Because here’s the secret: while some insurance companies pour money into ads, others quietly offer better coverage for less.

That’s the kind of insider information you need. Reach out to Ray for your life insurance needs and secure your financial future without sacrificing your financial present. Smart, strategic, and genuinely helpful. That’s Ray.

WHAT’S UP

🥐 Bonrue Bakery Coming to Provo and Orem
Bonrue Bakery currently operates in St. George and Hurricane, so you might have tried it on a trip down there. And they just announced that, fan-favorite, “European-style” bakery is heading north—opening new spots in Orem and Provo this summer (plus more across Utah soon). They are known for their croissants, pastries, and, interestingly, lightning-fast lines!

🌡️ The Incoming Freeze
Winter skipped us, but apparently the late season frosts have not. The National Weather Service is warning of a cold snap that could drop temps near or below freezing along the Wasatch Front tomorrow.
If you have fruit trees that are blooming or budding, they’re especially vulnerable. Experts recommend covering smaller trees with frost cloths or sheets overnight, and also watering the ground beforehand to help retain heat. Even a few degrees of protection can save your fruit this year.

🏀 Heartbreak in the Title Game
Top-seeded BYU’s postseason run came up short Wednesday night. Delaney Gibb (24 points) had a great night, and BYU had a 13-0 run at one point, but ended up falling 81–64 to Columbia in the WBIT championship.
