🏗 Enhancement Plan Bridal Veil Falls
They’ve released some renderings showing the possible enhancements they want to make at Bridal Veil Falls. The enhancements (assuming all the deals go through), will include:
Paved access & parking
Better and wider bike lanes and walking trails
Viewing platforms
Restrooms and maybe other small facilities
(Click the blue header link to see more renderings)
🇺🇸 Flag on Khyv
Utah Senators John Curtis and Mike Lee just introduced the Star‑Spangled Summit Act to formally allow a U.S. flag to fly atop Kyhv Peak. It would restore a tradition started by local Robert Collins in 2000. The bill would give us a special-use permit so the flag can once again wave over Provo Valley without fear of being taken down by government officials.
🏈 BYU's First Practice of Fall Camp
Practice started on July 30th, and we all just want to know about the quarterback situation so we’ll jump right into that. According to the Deseret News, true freshman, Bear Bachmeier, got more first-team reps than the others, and Sports Illustrated’s writers seemed to consider him the most impressive of the three. Treyson Bourguet showed his deep-ball skill but had a turnover as well. And according to Jay Drew and the others at Deseret News, McCae Hillstead, the Utah State transfer (and the favorite to win the starting spot), showed poise and accuracy, despite mostly handing the ball off or making short throws.

🌞 Solar Tax Credit Deadline!
Congress has spoken, and the 30% federal tax credit you used to get for installing solar is GONE.
BUT ACTUALLY, it’s not completely gone — if you get your solar system fully installed by December 31, 2025 you can still take advantage of it. Might be your last chance!
Rural comes recommended and has been Utah’s leading solar installation company across most of the state. And they're based in Orem!
We’ll talk more about the Solar Tax Credit, and Rural, coming on Monday, but for now, go here to learn about RURAL and their Solar Services

Friday Foodie
Thai Time 🍜

Authentic Thai cuisine, cooked with fresh ingredients and served fast. Their team built their own recipes, often tweaking dishes until they were just right — and they are new to Provo, so let’s get to know them!
How it all started: Thai Time first made a name for itself up north, tucked into a modest spot in Murray. The folks in Murray quickly grew to love the taste, and the prices. They also started posting their deals and the buzz grew.
New location, same great food: This April, they opened a brand-new location right in Provo. Their menu goes well beyond fried rice (which is super good by the way). The Google reviewers rave about the fried dumplings, also the Massaman and Yellow curries, their Pad Thai, of course, and their Kao Soi is also a popular dish — which not a lot of places carry. 🌶

Have a great weekend!
Thanks for reading and please forward this to someone who needs a new tiny frying pan. 😉
