😎 Keanu Reaves

✈ Flight school coming to Spanish Fork
A brand-new flight school, Flight‑crew Lead Training Academy, is set to open in Spanish Fork in September 2025, expanding from its first location in Woods Cross. At Lead Training Academy, students could possibly graduate in just 14 months with pathways to get jobs at airlines like SkyWest and Contour Airlines. The flight school facility will also have a coffee shop, restaurant, park, and running track.
🏈 Quarterback decision to be announced soon?
With kickoff 19 days away, BYU OC Aaron Roderick hints the QB race is heating up. While McCae Hillstead, Treyson Bourguet, and Bear Bachmeier have been rotating evenly, “there’s starting to be … a little bit of separation,” Roderick said. We might even get the name of the starter before the game. Most assumed BYU would wait until the first kickoff, which can be a competitive advantage, but Aaron Roderick said he didn’t really feel it would be an advantage this year.
🏈 BYU and Utah according to the AP top 25
Sorry if you don’t like all the football news. Anyway, BYU and Utah were both left out of this years preseason top 25 poll, but barely. BYU was ranked no. 26 and Utah was ranked no. 27. (Texas, Penn State, and Ohio State were ranked 1, 2, and 3 by the way.)
While we’re talking sports, here’s the 🏀 Uncut: Summer Workouts video from BYU men’s basketball.

Wellness Wednesday
The Powerlifting Gym 🏋️♂️

“If no gym out there had the space, equipment, and atmosphere I wanted… I’d have to build it myself.”
How it Started: That’s how Kevin’s vision for The Powerlifting Gym began. He was done with the crowds at big-box gyms, the wait for equipment, the surprise fees — and wishing for a real sense of community. So in April 2025, he opened a semi-private, high-quality training space where lifters could train without compromise, feel at home, and push each other to be their best.
Location + Equipment + Community: From the start, Kevin knew it was critical to have both the right equipment and the right location. At The Powerlifting Gym, you’ll find competition-grade racks, calibrated plates, specialty bars, deadlift platforms, benches, and an open layout ready for powerlifting, CrossFit, Hyrox, and everyday strength training.
The Powerlifting Gym is located in Pleasant Grove, right next to Athlecare — an elite sports recovery facility. Being next to Athlecare means members have access to world-class equipment and pro-level recovery experts. This unique setup puts recovery at your fingertips so you can keep training.
More Highlights:
Near-24/7 member access
Group strength classes from Amy Williams of Abs by Amy
Personalized coaching from independent trainers
