What’s Up Provo! And Happy Giving Tuesday! 💝 It’s a great day to forget about the commercialism of the season. Also a great day to donate because today lots of organizations are offering to match your donation!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and a good time at all the lights on festivals happening yesterday (more coming later this week). Let’s get into it!

WHAT’S UP

🏂 Utah Resorts to open up
After some delayed openings, the recent snowfall has at least four major resorts saying they are opening this week. Alta Ski Area hits the slopes Friday, Park City Mountain Resort and Snowbasin Resort will follow over the weekend, and Brighton Resort plans to open Tuesday. The early snow — up to 10″ in parts of the north — plus snowmaking efforts have the resorts optimistic, and more snow is forecast today and tomorrow (maybe 6–12″ in the Cottonwoods).

🏈 Big Underdog
BYU Cougars opened as a 13.5‑point underdog to Texas Tech Red Raiders in the 2025 Big 12 Championship Game this Saturday. But… we heard Sione Moa will be back (might just be a rumor), and Chase Roberts as well. Hopefully Kalani will be there as well. (if some local CEOs have their way, he will be at BYU for a long time)
