🐝 Beehive Bazaar Finds a Home
After 20+ years of roaming, Beehive Bazaar finally has a permanent home in The Beehive — a stylish 4,000‑sq‑ft event venue in the heart of Provo. The Bazaar returns this month for two weeks (Dec 9–13 & Dec 16–20) with 200+ artisans selling handmade goods in a festive, fun setting. In addition to being the holiday market’s home, The Beehive will double as an event space for weddings, parties, corporate events — complete with a dance floor, an outdoor patio with fire pits, and a bridal suite.

💰 Utah County’s 2026 Budget
Looks like no UT County tax hike for 2026. Last year there was a 48% jump and the revenue from that will mostly be used to increase salaries in key departments like the sheriff’s office, county attorney, and elections. A 2% raise for department heads is also being considered — with final decisions due in January.

🏈 2025 Pop‑Tarts Bowl: BYU Cougars vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
No. 12 BYU Cougars (11‑2) will take on No. 22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9‑3) in the 2025 Pop‑Tarts Bowl on Saturday, December 27, at 3:30 p.m. ET in Camping World Stadium (Orlando, FL), with the game airing on ABC.
Also, this year’s bowl had a last‑minute twist: Notre Dame Fighting Irish were originally expected to face BYU — but they declined playing in any bowl at all after being left out of the playoff. Would have been a very interesting game...

🏀 BYU vs Clemson
The Jimmy V Classic is bringing serious heat to Madison Square Garden as BYU takes on Clemson in a clash of top-tier college hoops matchup at the The Jimmy V Classic. Let’s hope BYU can keep up it’s hot streak and live up to its top 10 ranking. Clemson is looking pretty good though, with a high KenPom rating and a 7–2 record. Plus their team has a few Utah ties which always adds extra spice to the matchup. (Their starting center, Carter Welling, attended Corner Canyon HS, and Jake Wahlin on their team is a former BYU commit who played at Timpview.)

🎄 Pioneer Christmas at the Village
Step into a festive pioneer-era village. As you might expect, a pioneer’s Christmas looked very different. Here are some interesting pioneer Christmas facts: they decorated their trees (which were sometimes just sagebrush), with popcorn and berry garlands, and often ate plum pudding, which could take weeks because apparently they needed the pudding to age! Anyway, more where that came from if you go to the Pioneer Village this weekend, plus lots of fun, free admission, and they might have some unique ornaments for sale.

BYU is 9-1 for only the 4th time in program history and will be hosting Idaho State at the Marriott Center on Thursday at 7pm, and then UTEP at 2pm on Saturday.

It was originally scheduled for the 10th, but it’s been rescheduled to Thursday the 11th.
