In Partnership with Grifols
Donate Plasma, Get Paid, & SAVE LIVES

Grifols Plasma Center on Columbia Lane in Provo turns everyday donors into lifesavers.

And they need as many donors as they can get. For example, it takes 900 plasma donations to treat ONE Alpha-1 antitrypsin patient, and 1,200 donations to treat ONE patient with hemophilia!

As a thank-you, new donors can earn $400 over their first four visits. (They also give a $100 bonus when you refer a friend. Read more about that on their website.)

📅 If you’re ready to make a difference and get some extra cash then check out their appointment schedule here

🩸 Also, Grifols in Provo has a special program helping patients with Juvenile Leukemia. Read more about their Leukemia program here

🌉Recent rescue under Provo River bridge underscores yearslong delay in fixing known hazard” - KJZZ
“[Officials] respond to roughly three or four incidents on this river stretch every weekend.” UDOT officials hope to make it safer. Grateful everyone was okay and a good reminder to avoid the bridge and stay safe. (hopefully they get rid of this hazard in the future)

🚗 Special License Plate $$$
The state auditor released info about the state’s special license plate program. So far it has brought in over $15.7 million, which is funneled back to sponsoring schools, nonprofits and agencies. The retro black and white Historic Utah plate is the most popular. BYU plates generated $647,567, and UVU plates $113,850.

Friday Foodie
Bummy’s 🍔

"Upon my first slider, I saw heaven." — Anonymous customer

Bummy got his nickname from his brothers when he was six, and it’s stuck. His childhood was grilling burgers with his dad and sitting around the table with family (and lots of sauce). Now he’s serving up those same unforgettable childhood flavors.

Bummy’s is a local slider spot that customers swear is life-changing. Each bite is crafted with Utah grass-fed beef, caramelized onions, Tillamook cheddar, and a signature house sauce, all on a perfectly toasted local brioche bun. The flavors are rich and high quality — people say they’re the best sliders they’ve ever had. (We agree, also check out their reviews).

And it’s not just the food. The Bummy’s team brings a friendly, family vibe wherever they’re serving up sliders. They’re warm, welcoming, and glad to see you.

Find Bummy’s at these farmer’s markets:
🍔 Monday – Springville Farmers Market
🍔 Wednesday – Orem Farmers Market
🍔 Saturday – Provo Farmers Market

(Have you ever rearranged your whole day just to find the Bummy’s truck? You’re not the only one. 😉)

Join the spotlight waiting list

Thanks again to Bummy’s for letting us spotlight them.

Live Music Venues 🎸

Once again, thank you to Grifols (Donate Plasma, Get Paid, & SAVE LIVES).

Also, if you liked the email then please forward it to someone you know who’s taken a shower fully clothed to wash off BYU’s blue foam. 😉
