Mid-Summer To-do’s

The middle of summer has come and gone, but still some hot months ahead. Here are some to-do’s to consider to keep that AC humming (but not too loud) and that lawn lush.

āœ… Clean those AC coils
Remove leaves, dirt, cottonwood tree fluff, etc., from your outdoor unit to keep it from overworking (and possibly killing your unit). Mid-summer AC check up

āœ… Mow at a higher setting
We don’t claim to be experts at these things, we’re just sending you what we’re reading. But a lot of experts say you should set you mower blades to a higher height to help it weather the summer heat. Check out the other things Homes and Gardens says to do around this time of year, (including using glass clippings as mulch).
