What’s Up Provo! Another great week ahead. We’ve been getting more and more people sending details about their events to us, which has been great. If you want to send us some information, or ask us a question, just reply to any of these emails.
As always, we’ll start by telling you about a real, and often weird, holiday happening today. So if you need a reason to celebrate today, you’re in luck because it’s National Milk Chocolate Day and World Hepatitis Day. 🍫🤒
(You can celebrate just one, or you can do a kind of combo celebration. Not sure what that would look like but anyway — up to you.)
Here’s a quick summary of today’s newsletter:
Tons of Lindon Days events including the car show, the rodeos, and the 🍦 free ice cream social
Mammoth Week comes to Provo TODAY, and the World Folkfest kicks off their series of events with a “Community Extravaganza” at University Mall
BYU sports is returning with the women’s soccer Blue/White Scrimmage this week ⚽

🦫 Buc-ee’s NOT coming to Spanish Fork
There was talk about Buc-ee’s, the very popular Texas-sized gas station chain, opening up a Utah location in Spanish Fork. Here’s what Spanish Fork had to say about that:
“Some say if you whisper “Buc-ee’s” three times at sunset, a beaver appears with a brisket sandwich.
That’s about as real as the Texas-sized rumor going around.
Should that ever change, we’ll let you know.”
🏈 Single game tickets on sale
The Utah game is sold out, but still tickets left for the other games. Ticket prices start at $75.
🏀 BYU Basketball adds Aleksej Kostic
Aleksej is an experienced player (considering his age) coming to BYU from the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions of the Austrian Basketball Superliga. He’s a guard, 6’4”, a great shooter, and Superliga is a fun word to say.
❓ Salt Lake, Park City, & St. George events?
There’s a chance we might start getting event info for a lot more cities — but we want to know what you think first. Make sure to answer poll question at the bottom of this email.

We’ve been getting questions about this 👇
Do you want to know about the best events happening all over Utah?
(If we had to guess, we’d say we’d probably charge between 1.50 and $2.50 per month—if we even do it.)

Thanks for reading!
Hope this was helpful for you, send it to someone who wants $800 in dimes! 😉
