What to do when you get in an accident

From the experts at Flickinger • Boulton • Robson • Weeks
Tip #1: First, make sure everyone is safe and contact the police. (If you’ve wondered when contacting the police is required, Utah law says you must contact the police if there’s more than $1,500 worth of property damage or any injuries.)
Tip #2: If you’re physically able then gather info at the scene such as names and numbers of everyone involved, license plates, contact info for any witnesses, and lots of photos.
Tip #3: Be careful what you say. Some people might apologize, (even if it isn’t their fault), to help console the other driver. But be careful — statements like these can be used against you.
Here’s another tip, if you get in an accident, get a team of experts on your side to make sure everything is taken care of and done right.
If you’ve been in an accident, reach out to Flickinger • Boulton • Robson • Weeks for a free consultation.

⛰ Splash Summit and Slate Canyon
The owners of Splash Summit were considering a move to Slate Canyon recently, (no formal request but they were looking into it), but that option was blocked by Provo City and Mayor Kaufusi. Read the full article on Fox13 here.

Wellness Wednesday Spotlight
Wayne Bartholomew Park

Credit Jacob Barlow
Here’s a local summer outing that feels like a day at the beach (kind of 😉 ). Check out Wayne Bartholomew Park in Springville.
What it’s got: Sandy beach, reservoir, grassy areas, pavilions/tables, and great views (the mountains and sunsets really are beautiful). The sand is great for digging and lounging (just bring some shade—it gets hot!). The water is perfect for paddleboards, kayaks, and all the fun floaty things.
🚗 Parking tip: The lot by the beach is $15/day, but there’s a free one up the hill near the canyon entrance if you're up for a short walk.
