Walk 4 Hope

There are lots of ways to be giving back and it feels like the community needs it right now.

Check out the Walk4Hope. It’s a great event, a great cause, it is free to the public, and it includes a continental breakfast, free t-shirts, and a dove release.

Also, they will have on-site mental health providers, a pipe band, a short program with child psychiatrist Dr. Matt Swenson, and, of course, a walk!

When it comes to the news, we try to focus on positive and helpful stories that build a sense of community in Utah county. But we would like to acknowledge the tragic event that happened this week at UVU. We know that some of you, or your family members, or your neighbors, were actually in attendance. We hope and pray for the best for Charlie’s family, the ongoing investigation, and everyone that was affected in anyway.

Orem and Vineyard did a nice thing and made all the service opportunities easy to browse through on their justserve page. Choose from park clean‑ups, shoreline restoration, arts‑center sprucing, or family‑friendly projects (including options for those with limited mobility).
