100 Women Who Care - Utah Valley

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
— Helen Keller
We’re really happy to be spotlighting 100 Women Who Care. They’re an amazing group of women who work together to support charitable causes in Utah Valley. Here’s how it works:
Every quarter, each member donates $100.
At each meeting, three charities present their needs to the group.
After the presentations the group votes and the top-voted charity takes home the full donation pot!
Finally, at the next meeting, the winning charity comes back to share the impact their award made.
They’ve supported over 27 incredible charities, (including Dahlia’s Hope, CharityVision International, and Tabitha’s Way), and they’ve donated over $190,000! And they’re only getting started!
🌐 Go to their website to nominate a charity or just to learn more about 100 Women Who Care.
👉️ And, of course, if you want to make an impact while working with other like-minded women in Utah Valley, then become a member!

The Cherry Orchard 🍒

This BYU performance opened up just last week. Here’s the description: “After a prolonged absence following the death of her son, noblewoman Lyobov Ranevskaya returns to her home and finds the cherry orchard on the estate in full bloom. Despite the outward sign of prosperity, she is on the verge of financial ruin. Along with her brother, Gaev, Lyobov struggles to maintain the facade of gentility as their world crumbles around them.”
The play was written in 1903 by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov, which is a fun name to say. Here are some other fun names to say (these are characters in the play by the way): Yepikhodov, Dunyasha, and Boris Borisovich Simeonov-Pishchik.
Ticket prices start at $17 and the shows dates and times are April 1-4 and 8-12 at 7:30pm and on April 12 at 2:00pm. More info

Also, it’s not just about the acres and acres of beautiful flowers, on Fridays and Saturdays they will have live music, concessions, food trucks, vendors, topiaries, classes, and more.
