Here is the story behind Sparks as told by Tiffany:
“Our dad (Sparky Sparks) was a picker before picking was cool.

‘…His oldest son was managing his Storage Park AAA Lakeside Storage and said "dad lets "dress up Lakeside Storage". This began the gas pump collecting which led to the sign collecting. He brought a gas pump that he had had for years and put it in the front of the Storage Park. One was not enough and what began with one is now hundreds of gas pumps and petroliana signs.”

This is definitely one of Provo’s hidden gems! Sparks Museum has what is most likely the largest collection of pole signs anywhere in the world. The gas pumps and petroliana signs come from all over the United States and Canada, and the collection keeps growing!

Santa Visits and Christmas Lights 🎅🎄 

We have the list for where Santa is going to be this holiday season, we’ve checked it twice, and now we are sharing it with everyone! The Ultimate Santa in Utah Valley Santa Guide contains about 30 Christmas events/venues where kids can interact with Santa. We also have a Christmas Lights Guide detailing all the best places to see amazing light displays across the valley, and some outside the valley as well, (more than 30 locations).

Both of these guides will be updated periodically—in fact, we’ve already added more events to both since yesterday. If you know of any we missed, then please let us know and we’ll include them! (You can tell us by simply responding to one of our emails.)

Most expensive ticket in College Football 🎟️ 

BYU vs. Arizona State is the most expensive college football ticket out there right now. “…the cheapest ticket to get in the door is $259. That's more than $100 more expensive than the second most expensive game this weekend.” Article

Why? BYU knows it’s basically a must win if they want to go to the Big 12 Title game and the playoffs. Arizona State is calling it the biggest Arizona State game in decades. It’s No. 14 vs. No. 21 and the playoffs on the line!

From the Arizona State coach, Kenny Dillingham, to his fan base: “If you have tickets and you’re an ASU fan, make sure they go to ASU fans. There’s a lot of BYU fans in the Valley, so let’s make sure if you’re an ASU fan and you own a ticket and you’re selling it or giving it away, make them show you an ASU hat or ASU shirt, something ASU in order to get that ticket.”

Annual Family and Friends Worship and Thanksgiving 🥧 

Kickoff Thanksgiving week with a Thanksgiving feast at the historic United Church of Christ chapel on University Ave.

Worship service at 11am, music will be by the Utah Valley Interfaith Choir, and at 12:30pm the meal will begin in the Fellowship Hall.

If you are going then bring a dessert and/or a side to share—the turkey and drinks will be provided!
