A quick search online would suggest that Bear Lake and Sand Hollow have the best beaches in the state, but don’t count out Starvation Reservoir.

It’s also National Toasted Marshmallow day. Putting the two holidays together and roasting marshmallows on the beach sounds amazing.

Ono’s Malasadas

OUR STORY

While on their annual vacation to the Hawaiian Islands, Sophia Bussio and her family discovered Malasadas, a Portuguese fried sweet dough, a food staple in Hawaii. Sophia and her family saw the opportunity to bring the malasada magic to Provo. Excited to embrace the opportunity, the Bussios dove headfirst into the world of fried dough, later naming their new company “Ono’s Malasadas.”

OUR NAME

The name, a fusion of Hawaiian and Portuguese, encapsulates what a malasada truly is. “Ono” in Hawaiian means “delicious,” while in Portuguese, “Malasadas” translates to “bad dough” — a contradiction that perfectly describes the treat.

Many of us spend much of our day working—so even little improvements that make work more enjoyable and effective can make a big difference. Some ideas:

✅ Cure your “tech neck”. Incorporate daily exercises to relieve neck pain caused from looking at a computer.

✅ Get started on the music-for-work-spotify-playlists you’ve been meaning to create. How to make a playlist 🎵 

✅ Finally learn how people are using AI to take meeting notes. 🤖 (And summarize and email them, too.) AI meeting note tools including what their free plans include)
