Ono’s Malasadas

OUR STORY

While on their annual vacation to the Hawaiian Islands, Sophia Bussio and her family discovered Malasadas, a Portuguese fried sweet dough, a food staple in Hawaii. Sophia and her family saw the opportunity to bring the malasada magic to Provo. Excited to embrace the opportunity, the Bussios dove headfirst into the world of fried dough, later naming their new company “Ono’s Malasadas.”

OUR NAME

The name, a fusion of Hawaiian and Portuguese, encapsulates what a malasada truly is. “Ono” in Hawaiian means “delicious,” while in Portuguese, “Malasadas” translates to “bad dough” — a contradiction that perfectly describes the treat.

Sundance from 8pm to 10:30pm

Kendell Marvel has been in the country scene for decades. (In fact, he first started playing barroom gigs when he was only 10 years old.) Throughout his career he has been pushing the boundaries of country, blending southern twang, honky-tonk country and rock & roll, even a little R&B.

He’s also a Grammy-winner, and has written Top 40 hits for the likes of George Strait, Gary Allan, and Chris Stapleton. Don’t miss your chance to see him here in Utah! More info/Tickets

💡 Last Friday was Cheap Flight Day. 🛫 
Here’s a tip when buying flights: the best time to buy domestic flights is 28 days before you need to fly. For international it's 60 days before. Also, you might need to buy a little earlier than 28/60 days out if you plan on traveling during peak travel seasons. Source
